Texas declares PSP best console of 2005

Ok, ok, maybe the entire state of Texas didn't endorse the PSP as the "console of the year." But the home of the Alamo and the self-proclaimed "heart of Texas" did as the San Antonio Express News crowned the PSP as king and  victor, beating out the lowly Nintendo DS and the elusive Xbox 360.

Express News rep, Dave Davies, reports that, "The Playstation handheld was released in March and still manages to amaze me. Month by month, the system improved as new features were downloaded including the ability to Wi-Fi surf the Internet and stream live audio."

We're not too sure that we should be declaring "console of the year" winners based on their ability to surf the Internet or stream audio, but, hey, a win is a win! So, better luck next year Nintendo and Microsoft... the eyes of Texas are upon you.
