Nintendo doing just fine with portables

The reason? You guessed it; the Nintendo DS.
From the article: "Despite hard times on the console front, Nintendo is doing quite well on the strength of its portable game systems. The most impressive of these is the dual-screen Nintendo DS, which has been wowing gamers of all ages following its launch in late 2004."

The article also hints at a "migration [of Nintendo's]
handheld business over to the DS from the Game Boy Advance." Nintendo did say earlier this year that the DS would not replace the Game Boy line, but could that change giving the dual screen's recent success?
