New Sega Genesis game to be released spring 2006

A game for the Sega Genesis 16-bit console hasn't been released since 1998. Well that will change next spring when San Diego developer Super Fighting Team releases a new RPG game for the classic console entitled Beggar Prince. Gamer Steve writes: "You can pre-order the game for around $46 and is set to ship in Spring 2006.
It will play in any Sega Genesis, Megadrive or Nomad system regardless of region (it will work on both NTSC and PAL
systems)."

With the rising cost of game development, maybe this could be a trend with classic consoles.
How long has it been since the Amiga had a game published?

[Thanks, Steve]
