Another fun interview with Uwe Boll
In the world of game-to-film adaptation, Uwe Boll is a busy man. With BloodRayne's opening weekend over, to some abysmal figures, Mr. Boll has the upcoming In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale and soon-to-be-in-production Postal
film to look forward to. 1up had an interview via e-mail with Mr. Boll to discuss his films, and movie critics alike.
When you read the interview, bear in mind that English is not Mr. Boll's first language. That said, Mr. Boll is very clear on what he thinks about the Aint It Cool News critics who trashed BloodRayne: "Harry and Quint are retards."
Also in the interview, Ed Wood incarnate Uwe Boll clarifies that In the Name of the King will be released as one, 2 1/2 hour film, and a "3 hour DVD version" to follow its theatrical release. And how about summing up what to expect from the Postal film, Mr. Boll? "The biggest desaster [sic] on earth – but not for me – for AMERICA." We couldn't agree more.
