Blizzard beseeches you: join the War Effort

So you have your level 60 Paladin decked out, you've updated World of Warcraft to 1.9, and you and your clan are ready to tackle Ahn'Qiraj, the new high-level instance. But wait, stop right there, you are gonna need a few things first.

Like what, you ask? How about 90000 copper bar, for starters. Blizzard has locked Ahn'Qiraj from every server until enough resources are gathered – from both the Alliance and Horde. The list is long, and requires a great effort – even teamwork – amongst the warring sides. It's a testament to the community that the servers are making progress. Not only has Blizzard found a way to not only make World of Warcraft more addicting, but they also made fishing a lot more enticing of a profession.

You can view each server's progress via the official World of Warcraft War Effort Rankings. Currently, Medivh is in the lead – 44% complete, with the Alliance having contributed slightly more (in terms of percentage complete) than its Horde counterpart.
