MLB 2K6 to use scouting data

2K Sports, a Take-Two Interactive subsidiary,
announced today that Major League Baseball 2K6 will use Inside EdgeTM scouting data to recreate the real-life tendencies and decisions of Major League pitchers and batters. In short, gamers will apparently better "feel"
hitting against pitchers. We'll have to play it first to see how much of an impact the data technology will have.

Due to a deal between Major League Baseball and Take-Two Interactive, MLB 2K6 will be the the only licensed MLB
video game to appear on consoles this year. The game is slated for a spring 2006 release on the Xbox 360, Xbox,
PlayStation 2, PSP, and GameCube. Any baseball nuts ready for this?
