Philips shows rollable grayscale display, scoffs at production ideas

We've heard of the promise of rollable displays and their ilk for what seems like decades now, but they're "just around the corner" now, honest.
Philips was showing a 5-inch QVGA grayscale display at CES, which lacked touch screen input for the Windows Mobile interface shown, but should hopefully keep the hope alive for seeing these devices sometime this century, especially those hoping for displays that look like messy etchings.
