Ubisoft: Turtle Power!

Cowabunga, dudes! Ubisoft today garnered an exclusive license agreement to develop and publish video games based on the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CG film. The TMNT games have long been made by Konami, but their last 3 installments of the series have received rather poor reviews by game critics. In their defense, Konami did make the smash-hit Turtles in Time for the SNES, but in recent years their success with the franchise has waned.

According to the press release, the movie is based on the "original comic-book series and will be grittier than the previous live action pictures" while somehow retaining a PG
rating. Both the upcoming movie and video game are expected to be released in early 2007.
