Staying consistent with weekly Japanese sales, Famitsu has released data citing the top selling Japanese games during the 2005 calendar year (12/27/2004 – 12/25/2005). They are as follows:

    Wild World for DS
  2. Gran Turismo 4 for PS2
  3. Nou wo Kitaeru Otona no DS Training for DS
  4. Nintendogs for DS
  5. World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 for the PS2
  6. Dynasty Warriors 5 for PS2
  7. Yawaraka Atama Juku for DS
  8. Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop for DS
  9. Kingdom Hearts II for PS2
  10. Mario Kart DS for DS
