Bethesda keeps us oblivious to Oblivion's release

While a number of sources have targeted the week of March 20 as the launch window for Bethesda's Oblivion, the developer is still not prepared to confirm that date. Gaming 360 recently contacted Bethesda for an official statement. The response was not what any of us was hoping for, despite showing some promise that the long wait will soon be over:

"We haven't announced a release date, and until we do, we don't comment on release dates put out by anyone else. Our release date is early this year until we give out the exact date."
