Xbox ahoy! Beached Xbox washes ashore

While walking along the beach in Northern California, Beatrice Murch stumbled upon an interesting discovery: an Xbox™.
Popular theories for how it got there include being washed out from a flood, or falling off a ship en route. You guys have any ideas?
