HD-DVD preliminary title list

Since we're expecting to see some HD-DVD players within the next 60 days or so, a list of preliminary titles available might be nice, no? Some of the better flicks include:

  • The Matrix (trilogy)
  • Apollo 13
  • Backdraft
  • Batman Begins
  • Harry Potter series
  • Braveheart
  • Forrest Gump

There's a bunch more as we only provided a sample of the Paramount, Warner and Universal titles. The real question is: what's the first HD-DVD movie that you'll buy or want to see available? Make sure your choice is from a studio that supports HD-DVD, as we'll be asking the same for Blu-Ray later.
