Europeans will finally battle the Colossi
On February 17,
Sony's Shadow of the Colossus will make its long overdue debut in the PAL territories. To ease the pain of the delay, Sony is boxing the game in special packaging and tacking on some behind-the-scenes material, an image gallery,
the ICO trailer, and interviews with Ueda and Kaido-san. While no one is gonna say "no" to bonus content, do the additions really make up for the fact that Europeans are traditionally treated as second-class gamers?
Microsoft may have botched its worldwide launch of the Xbox 360, but was it the thought
that counted? Will Europeans respond—with open wallets—to Microsoft's earnest efforts to get the hardware and games in their hands (roughly) at the same time as the North Americans and Japanese?
