State of the Analog Union

We're already aware of the analog television cutoff by February 17, 2009, but it's not a law just yet. We doubt that President Bush will have this info in his "State of the Union Address" later this evening, so we'll handle the HD agenda. After tonight's festivities, it's back to work for the House of Representatives tomorrow where we expect them to pass the proposed DTV transition bill. We should know for sure if the bill becomes a law on Thursday as we anticipate that Mr. President will sign on the dotted line. If the pen he uses shows up on eBay, we call "dibs".
