Think outside of the HDTV box

HDTVs are great. (duh, we know but follow us here) They give us great picture and just as great sound but their resolution can bring the TV to a new level. We have mentioned this in the past but we are curious to see what you have to say.

What would you like to see as a HDTV add-on? Us. RSS feeds. It would be great to watch our news in the morning while at the same time browse through our feeds. Think your own personal CNN
ticker.

The best idea we have heard however comes from our Flickr pool. Bd34r posted his huge 130-inch screen there and linked to his blog where he had an amazing HDTV application: a dedicated Earth HD station. A "real time" high-def picture of the earth. In the words of two Irish geniuses
"Brilliant!"
