YATPC (Yet another TV plant closing)

JVC is closing down a manufacturing plant in Japan. The place was used to make parts for rear-projection TVs. 80 of the 130 will be transfered to a different factory. JVC is on track to incur the second straight loss in two years.

This is just another sign of manufactures not keeping up with the fast moving trends in TVs. Flat is in and if they cannot get on board companies will suffer.
