Canon's new DC40 and FV M300 digital video cameras

The ever-prolific Canon is busting out two new low-end video cams to help fill out their lineup. The DC40 is a DVD-based shooter that includes a 4 megapixel CCD for stills and has a 10x zoom, while the FV M300 records to MiniDV and shoots 1.3 megapixel stills, but includes a 20x zoom.
Both of the cameras weigh around a pound, and are due in Japan in March (DC40) and February (FV M300).
