Ninety-Nine Nights: April 20th in the Land of the Rising Sun

Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the man behind Lumines, Meteos, and a little gem called
Rez, is about to unleash his latest creation to the world. Ninety-Nine Nights, the oft-discussed Xbox 360 title, will finally see the light of day in the Land of the Rising Sun – okay, semantics aside, the game is going to be released in Japan on April 20th (the same day Mother 3 will be released – those lucky, lucky Japanese gamers...).

Ninet-Nine Nights is a hack-and-slash, one-soldier-vs.-an-army action title, reminiscent of Dynasty Warriors. Still, while the genre may be overplayed (Dynasty Warriors alone has at least a half-dozen sequels and expansions), the visuals look stunning and Mizuguchi's track record so far is superb.
