HDTV Buying Guide from the HDTV Professor

I had the opportunity to sit next to the HDTV Professor, Alfred Poor, at one of the CES Press Events I covered for Engadget. Turns out that Alfred and I can tune in the same ATSC channels as he lives just down the road a few miles; quite amusing that we traveled thousands of miles to find out we leave near each other. Professor Poor, as he's known, has a brand new eBook available for purchase entitled
"Professor Poor's Guide to Buying HDTV".
We have to give him some kudos for trying to help educate the confused public; something we hope to be doing as well.
The eBook costs $37 and when you think about it, if you can save hundreds of dollars based on the advice, it might be a sound investment. Additionally, since the book is an electronic form, it can be updated relatively quickly as the HDTV
market changes.

There's a table of contents available to "see what's inside" and after a review of the book, it's clear that our more "HDTV-educated" readers might not benefit; folks new to HDTV however could learn a thing or two. If you've got a friend or two that's deficient in their HDTV knowledge, let 'em know that they can subscribe to our site, but be sure to tell them about Professor Poor's assistance as well. The more we educate the public in HDTV the better off we all are!
