Ski Dubai

What we're watching

: Did you ever want to ski in the desert? Is that even possible? Of course it is, and tonight on Discovery-HD you can see for yourself in 1080i. Tonight's episode of "Extreme Engineering" focuses on the Dubai Ski Resort, which has no less than five snow covered slopes. For the geographically challenged, Dubai is a very small (but wealthy) member of the United Arab Emirates; not a place where you'd typically find snow.
