Ruckus Wireless to demo IPTV over WiFi in Europe

Those Ruckus Wireless folks are at it again with their digital video streaming via WiFi as they take their road show to Europe. If you're in the London area between March 6th through the 8th, try to sneak in to the IPTV World Forum where Ruckus will provide one of the first public demos of their technology. First up will be the Ruckus MF2900 router piping some HD WMV-9 video over 802.11g. This shouldn't be an issue since the streaming rate will be in the 9 to 12 Mbps range; no major problem unless there are bunch of microwaves or cordless phones at the event (read: not likely). Ruckus will also demo their wares with a Slingbox and some digital cable as well. I missed their demo at CES, so I have to wonder if they're compressing the video signals to make all of this happen. We've run our own tests, granted they were with standard WiFi equipment, and it's not quite wireless bliss just yet.
