Confirmed: Halo 2 coming to the PC, Vista only

the BBC News leak was for real folks. In a press release, Microsoft confirms that a Windows Vista exclusive version of Halo 2 is coming.
There's no specific release date, which isn't surprising considering Microsoft's on-going delays of a retail version of Vista. According to the release, the PC version will include all the maps from the Xbox original, plus the Multiplayer Map Pack and what sounds like a custom map creation utility.

In case you were wondering, this isn't the first time Microsoft has locked out gamers from running their games in older versions of Windows.
