Dance, Let's Dance! Barbie, dance!

We were kind of hoping Mattel's new Let's Dance! Barbie was going to be a not-well-veiled Bowie reference,
perhaps Barbie in post-glam / pre-new wave early 80s disco drag. But when we found out that she's merely a 15-inch tall dancing robo-Barbie that learns its owners moves and teaches her (or him?) new dances by talking and demonstrating new music, we got a bit discouraged about it having much to do with Ziggy Stardust , let alone his Spiders (some of which,
we understand, are from Mars).
