D&D Online goes Gold

Developer Turbine has announced that Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach has officially gone gold and is in final production. IGN's "most-anticipated MMO" will continue to be in Beta through Feb. 20, with a scheduled ship date of Feb. 28.

According to president and CEO Jeffrey Anderson, 300,000 players registered for the Beta program. A few Joystiq readers have commented on DDO's party-based play and real-time combat, but how many of you think this game will make a dent in EverQuest's or WoW's market share?
