New (old) Super Mario DS footage

Some amateur video of an amateur gamer playing the "New Super Mario Bros." on the DS has surfaced.
Apparently, it was taken during E3 2005 (notice, it's a prototype DS screen), so there's no telling how the gameplay featured here will compare to the actual product.  Jump, stomp, kick, punch, grab mushroom, grab flower... it's all been done before, but somehow 2D side-scrolling Mario never fails to capture our imaginations.
