EchoStar X satellite launched successfully

EchoStar X is in the air and successfully acquired a signal, this after delaying the launch just 10 days ago.
The new satellite is the sixth built by Lockheed Martin and the first of seven new birds planned this year for Lockheed Martin. The great HD space race is heating up and it's getting crowded up there with all those MPEG-4 enabled satellites.
