Sam & Max V: The Umpire Strikes Back

Before we continue, we would like to assure Joystiq readers that, no, it is not a slow news day, this is only 24 hours old, and it is indeed not fake. That said, Steve Purcell has given us another Sam & Max strip, an interactive cartoon involving crazy dream sequences and the disappearance of a very diabolical-looking creature from the previous edition.

Purcell is currently helping TellTale Games develop a highly-anticipated and long-awaited sequel to 1993's hilarious Sam & Max Hit the Road, a SCUMM adventure game from LucasArts (who once developed great adventure titles without Star Wars in name).
