Grundig E600 - basic non-Grundig, non-German media phone
The Grundig E600 cellphone: from a legendary name known for decades for its quality electronic products — er, scratch that. Cellphones under the Grundig name are actually produced by Spain's Vitelcom and manufactured, we assume, somewhere in China
(another Grundig we caught at 3GSM was a rebadged XCute DV2). Not that there's anything wrong with that, and if you want a basic GSM media phone with MP3, FM radio and
MPEG-4 playback, you could do worse than this clamshell. Just don't expect it to have anything in common with that 50-band tube-powered shortwave radio your grandfather had.
