Will the real 360 camera please stand up?

A recent scan from (what I presume is) a
Japanese Chinese Official Xbox Magazine not only reveals that the upcoming Xbox 360 camera will be released in May 2006, but that it might not look like the camera we've been seeing in pictures.

An inside source at Xboxic claims the final design is more likely to be the one we've been seeing previously. Exercise skepticism accordingly.
