Announcing the winner of our Fake Apple Invite Contest

Well done, TUAWers!
Not only did you impress us with your terrific entries (and shame the authors of those other fake invites), your psychic/creative energy actually prompted Apple to host a real press event in the month of February!*

Seriously, we really enjoyed reviewing all of your entries at our secret offices in the Love Lounge at Pixar. Some of you went for that cryptic subtlety that Apple is known for, others went for humor and still others made the obscure reference that only a true geek would catch. It was a tough decision, but we've made it.
Find out who won after the jump.

*This last part may not be true.

Update: Here is a Flickr gallery of our 20 finalists.

Congratulations to Mute Matt, author of the "I Think I'm in Love" invite! It's appropriate for the month of February, it's cryptic and leading (what am I "in love" with? What do hearts have to do with Apple? Would could this possibly be alluding to?), the art is great and it really makes us want to know what's next. Matt: Please drop us a line via our tips page so what we may get your shipping information.

Thanks to all who sent in fake invites. They really were fun to peruse!
