The Covenant are invading!

At least that's what we thought when we saw this convincing example of a cosplay Elite. We're not sure who was inside the costume, but we do know that the photos
(which have been collected from a variety of sources) were taken at Comic-Con '05. The costume was so accurately done as to fool former Joystiq blogger Ben Striegel; he genuinely thought it was a poor 3D render of an Elite from the Halo series. Unfortunately,
there's one thing the costume player couldn't do anything about: the massive sweat patches. Who knew that Elites had sweat glands?
