CableLabs working on CableRoam, "cable" without the cable

Try and get your head around this one: CableLabs, the forum of cable-industry players who make and enforce standards for said industry, are apparently working on integrating existing and future wireless standards into something they can call their own. Yeah, pretty funny, right? Supposedly dubbed CableRoam, it's expected to provide alternative home and city-WiFi and WiMax service for cable company customers who in a couple years probably won't be as satisfied with their fixed-line video and Internet services as they are right now. It's a brave new wireless world out there, so what are CableLabs gonna be called sans "cable?" Would it be Labs, or perhaps just The Labs formerly known as Cable?
