TiVo's big announcement: "KidZone" parental controls?

We'd never be so bold as to report something like this as fact just yet, but Gear Live is reporting that an
"anonymous source" inside TiVo has spilled the beans on tomorrow's announcement, claiming that instead of juicy Series 3 or Netflix-partnership tidbits, we're in for a fairly ho-hum
(to us, at least) parental control service called KidZone. More than just a standard channel locking program, KidZone appears to be a dedicated GUI and feature-set specifically for children, with virtual menus and channels running in a controlled environment. Apparently the KidZone mode prohibits children from accessing any TiVo programming features,
instead providing parents with a list of weekly recommendations for recording to a section of the hard drive
"partitioned" for the young ones. Gear Live's friend-on-the-inside says the new service will launch in June.
