London Calling cellphone puts a "phone box" in your pocket

With hundreds of OEM
factories in China, Taiwan and elsewhere in Asia, it's now possible for a small manufacturer — or even an individual who just happens to have an idea for a product — to get that item produced. Case in point: the London Calling cellphone, which C&D Wireless, a self-professed garage company has just brought to market. The T-Mobile GSM phone is fairly unremarkable — other than the fact that it looks something like a London phone box. Yes, OEM factories make it possible for anyone to bring a product to market. Whether or not that's a good thing, well, we'll leave that up to you.
