Spring launch "impossible"

This is according to the President of Namco Bandai, that is. Takeo Takasu had some pretty strong words to say about the issue: "Without any announcements so far, the spring release is impossible. ... We are developing titles for PlayStation 3, but the release of the games depends on the timing of the hardware."

After our last post about COMPEQ,
we're starting to agree. Given that the Taiwanese manufacturer has to start by June at the earliest, then we're still going to hold out for a Christmas release. The same goes for Mr. Takasu: "We would like Sony to release the PS3 this year for the Christmas season."
