Windows Presentation Foundation Everywhere on Macs
News.com is reporting that Microsoft will be releasing Windows Presentation Foundation Everywhere for Macs sometime in 2007 (and we all know how the folks in Redmond like to stick to deadlines).
What the heck is Windows Presentation Foundation Everywhere? Well, it is a a runtime that will allow programs that are written in XAML (a Microsoft programming language) and JavaScript to run on OS's other than Windows (notably OS X and some flavors of Linux).
What is the world coming to? Macs can boot Windows and Microsoft is making programming tools for the Mac... have I stumbled in the Mirror, Mirror universe?
If Steve Jobs has grown a goatee I'm going to freak out.
