Capcom Japan investigated for tax fraud

It looks like Capcom Japan may have forgot to claim a few yen on their last tax filing ... to the tune of 5.1 billion (just over $43 million,
according to the current exchange rate). According to Google's translation
of a Yahoo! report (as my Japanese is pretty poor), Capcom could be fined 1.7 billion yen (around $14.5 million) by the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau.

Last year, Capcom earned a net profit of 7.4 billion yen, so while this fine may not shut them down, it will make them more careful with the books.
