The Hitchhiker's Guide to E3

While not able to help you locate a Babel fish on the show floor, Alkaiser and 32_Footsteps over at Netjak, E3 veterans themselves, have written a pretty expansive article on how to prepare yourself — both physically and mentally — for surviving E3.

We recommend anyone attending this year's E3 (even if some are common sense) to check out the article, but for those with little patience here is the quick-and-dirty of the guide:

  1. Get some comfortable shoes.
  2. Bring gloves and/or a backpack.
  3. Bring a digital camera.
  4. Prepare for some pricey parking.
  5. Leave the show floor 30 minutes early.
  6. Don't tear down posters until after E3 is over.
  7. Avoid waiting around in a crowd.
  8. Pack food & find ways to eat outside of Convention Center.
  9. Wear less mainstream gaming shirts.
  10. Explore the booths.
  11. Be nice.
  12. Tylenol is your friend.
  13. Consider AAA Membership.
