Nintendo Wii augmenting reality?

Is the Wii all about the gameplay? The console has one of the most unique controllers, if not the most unique, but will it augment virtual reality in how we interface with game software come next week? GameDaily writes: "Scoff at the name change all you like. Make all the jokes in the world with game store owners and fellow forum dwellers. But Nintendo has a plan with their forthcoming game console, and it goes further than anything the Virtual Console service has to offer or any of the games that Nintendo has secretly embedded in their press announcement for their pre-E3 press conference next week."
