Pandemic to deploy Mercenaries 2
Pandemic has announced the inevitable, a sequel to last year's enjoyable sandbox romp, Mercenaries. The key for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames' success will be Pandemic's ability to improve upon the original's formula, which grew stale about halfway through the game. But the developer isn't ready to talk about these improvements, nor is the studio ready to release platform availability details.
According to 1UP, Mercenaries 2 is headed for a console with the number '3' in its name. Our guess, the sequel will arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
