PC games get console packaging

From giant cardboard boxes to smaller cardboard boxes to DVD cases. The IEMA on Friday announced a new packaging for computer games. As seen to the right, the box mimics the style popular with console game packaging. The first game to use this standardized packaging will be Madden 2007 (although The Sims has been using similar casing for awhile now). You can download the press release (pdf file) here.
