Philips showing off new dual-layer Blu-ray PC drive
Philips has just announced their latest Blu-ray product - a recordable dual-layer Blu-ray PC drive. Pioneer and LG currently have Blu-ray drives out but wait, those are only single layer drives with a max capacity of 25 gigs. This drive from Philips can do all the way up to 50 gigs! Sure you have to mind media that can do that but we are sure that there will be some available come July when this drive is release. Oh and the amzing news is that this drive is just a few dollars more then the single layer burners. The LG and Pioneer were both $999 and but this Philips has a MSRP of $1,099.
