PS3's US website had smoke but no fire

All right, so according to our pals at Joystiq, among other websites hopping all over this story like a bunch of crazed trolls, the U.S. Playstation 3 website had a smoke-screen effect ... with an Apple logo watermark. An honest mistake? Most likely, since the PR guy at Sony didn't notice initially and when he did, said "that's f—in' funny."

 Word on the street is the website was using, most likely, a trial version of Apple Shake. It's fixed now, but Sony will make a statement later today.
