Possible new round of PSP Greatest Hits released

Gamestop and EB Games have just updated their Web site with a new list of $20 PSP games, which may be new additions to the PSP Greatest Hits library.

The newly-priced titles are:

  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
  • Mega Man Maverick Hunter
  • NBA Ballers Rebound
  • Capcom Classic Remix
  • Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble
  • Midnight Club
  • Need for Speed Underground Rivals
  • NBA Street Showdown

Also, Best Buy has updated their Web site with the following $20 titles:

  • Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Spiderman 2
  • NBA [$9.99]

If this is an official price drop, it possibly couldn't come at a better time, since the following week hasn't been to kind to Sony and their proprietary format. Personally, I think $40 to $50 is way too expensive for any handheld game, so this is great news for the future of the PSP.
