DIRECTV HD DVR delay official?

A Forbes article confirms our findings last week about DIRECTV's HD DVR being delayed until the Fall. Nothing earth shattering here, but the analysts seem to think that this will drive customers to DISH. We are not sure we agree, we suppose it's possible that some people who are taking advantage of the HD locals might switch to be able to record them, but currently there are no HD national channels that are not available to HD TiVo owners. The people at Forbes to seem ignore the fact that DIRECTV has a HD TiVo at all.

Are you considering switching to another provider as a result of the delay? If not do you think the new HD DVR will be a good replacement for the HD TiVo or just another nightmare?
