Take care of them eyes, kiddies... Sony demands it

While it may not really count as news, it's at least fairly humorous. Get on your workout garb and get ready -- here are some fun tips to keep our eyes in great shape so we can game in the next couple of generations without going too blind.

  1. Stimulate both eyes equally by looking directly at the screen. No sideways gaming, people!

  2. Every twenty-ish minutes, focus on distant things, such as "trees or the sky or children playing". Does anyone else find that funny for some reason? Watching children play is... painful.

  3. Sit 6 feet away from TV screens and about 20 inches from computer screens.

  4. No glare! Install glare filter. Whatever.

  5. Blink eyes. Lubrication rocks.

  6. Ask a doctor for artificial tears. What? Don't tell the emo kids... it'd turn into the next big thing to buy.

  7. Six to eight times a day, rub your hands together and press them against your eyes! Warms/soothes muscles, apparently.

  8. Check out the plantlife. Green is relaxing to the eyes. Maybe.

  9. This one's great. Do eye-strengthening yoga exercises. Roll your eyes? No wonder sarcastic people have strong eyes.

  10. Get a doctor to see if you need "computer glasses". Contacts aren't as keen as glasses.

Hopefully that was as enlightening as it was ridiculous. No one wants to pop their eyes before they can truly judge the PS3, do they? Now come on, let's go do some eye yoga!
