PS3 pre-order patrol
After the fiasco that was the Xbox 360 launch, it appears that retailers are being very cautious with their PS3 pre-order plans. But, as we get down to the wire for release day, you can be sure that many stores will be motivated by greed to pre-sell their allotment of PS3s, complete with games and accessories that you don't really want or need. But given the impending shortage of consoles and the mass chaos it will cause, there will be plenty of folks (like me!) that will be willing to ante up for a pre-order bundle to ensure ownership of an actual console on launch day.
While there is one site that says it is searching the web for pre-order information in real-time, that still leaves a lot of questions unanswered for anxious fanboys? When? How? What about brick-n-mortar stores? We're looking for any hints, speculation or official information regarding any retailer's PS3 launch plans. It's hard to believe that no one who reads this site doesn't work for GameSpot or Best Buy or Amazon or Toys R Us or any of the other dozen places that will be receiveing intial shipments of the PS3 come Novemeber. Use the comments section below to share your info.
