De-polish your Black DS Lite (when pretty is too pretty) [update 1]

NeoGAF member Dice has had it up to here (points to chin level) with fingerprints and slippery smooth plastic on his shiny, new black DS Lite. Without the aid of a dog, he took his DS through a surgical de-polishing procedure, the result of which left him with added grip and the promise that no one would ever use the played-out "bling" wordage to describe his dual-screen portable.

From the how-to experiment: "Midway through the process you might be a bit worried because it looks pretty inconsistent and ugly ... But have no fear ... [When finished] it's like the Batmobile DS ... What does it really look/feel like? A less slippery Dual Shock 2. Seriously."
