New Legendary weapon in BC?

Mearas, Turalyon's Pride...real or fake? I originally saw this posted over at PaladinSucks.com (my new favorite blog for all my pally needs and the complaining that seems to come along with those needs). The trail from the pally blog led me to this thread in the pally forums on WoW.com.

You can read the history of Turalyon courtesy of the good folks at WoWWiki, but it would make perfect sense that this weapon would indeed be a legendary item beyond the Dark Portal. Provided it is real, that is. It looks like a tanking weapon to me, so maybe Blizzard really is serious about hybrids performing a variety of roles come BC.

Has anyone seen any other info on this weapon? Has this already been debunked? Or is this indeed the real deal?
