When we reported on a fake DS as seen in Crete, we had no idea the manufacturers would have their finger so affixed to the pulse of gaming that they'd introduce a model imitating the DS Lite, as well. Silly of us to underestimate the determination of those in the piracy business.
This latest hack-job was found in China and purchased for a mere $5 ($5 more than it was worth, we imagine). The unit strives to copy the sexy ergonomics of Nintendo's DS Lite, however as you can see, with a detachable bottom "screen" that is in fact the unit's game, it fails.
